Southland Help is a non discriminatory, non judgmental, confidential and free service, offering support, counselling information, advice and education to survivors of rape and sexual violence regardless of your circumstances or how long ago the abuse took place.
Southland Help is focused on working towards the elimination of all forms of violence against women, children and their families/whanau and include males in our services.
Southland Help has a crisis support service that operates between 9.00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
This includes the following services:
* Support in making a statement to the police
* Support through the forensic or therapeutic medical process
* Supportive listening, and referral to crisis counselling support
* Information
* Support with accessing resources, including finances to support your recovery from recent sexual assault
