Parituhu is a 1924 Edwardian bungalow renovated to accommodate all your needs, whilst still retaining its original charm. Parituhu was the name of one of the original Maori settlements nearby.
Parituhu is located on the waterfront in Devonport, a marine suburb of Auckland, New Zealand, less than 3 min walk to the local beach or to the main street of Devonport village and with beautiful views of the Waitemata Harbour and the Auckland skyline. It is close to swimming beaches, with swimming possible between December and March.
Devonport village has a number of cafes and restaurants, a large supermarket, 2 pharmacies, a hardware shop and a number of clothing shops. It also has a magnificent new public library, a cinema, and a number of art galleries.
We, Lyndsay Rendall and Helen MacKenzie, are the owner/operators of Parituhu and have lived in Devonport since 1991 and operated the B&B since 1998.
We are very happy to share our home with guests and offer a warm and friendly atmosphere. We both enjoy good films, books, politics, New Zealand wines and food and sports amongst many other things. We have both had a background in NZ healthcare, as nurses and managers.
We have travelled extensively both overseas and throughout New Zealand and because we know our country really well we are happy to help you with local and New Zealand information.
With only 1 guest room available you will receive personalised service from your hosts.
