NA is not connected with any political, religious or law enforcement groups, and are under no surveillance at any time. Anyone may join regardless of age, race, sexual identity, creed, religion or lack of religion.
The 0800 number has a pre-recorded message that will give you details of meeting times and days. You can also leave a message and someone will call you back.
The web site contains information on NA meetings throughout New Zealand and includes links to literature and information on NA throughout the world.
There are many gay, lesbian or bisexual people who are members of NA. Meetings are a safe space for everyone and all meetings are gay friendly. Discrimination of any type is not tolerated in NA and is enshrined in the expectations of NA.
