HYPE is a not-for-profit service which aims to improve the health and wellbeing of young people in mid Canterbury through a holistic focus on physical, mental, social and emotional wellbeing.
HYPE is a one-stop-shop for information about all sorts of issues affecting young people. We can provide information and resources on a wide range of topics including nutrition, sexual health, quitting smoking, safe partying, dealing with stress, tertiary education, WINZ benefits, alcohol and drugs, legal advice, mental health, housing, budget advice, sexuality and body image, and driving/road safety.
HYPE is staffed by a coordinator and is open for drop-ins from 3pm to 5pm weekdays.
